StartUp Direct – The programme in detail

The StartUp Direct programme comprises several modules that take a total of 12 months. A personal mentor from management is on hand during this time to support you in relation to academic and interdisciplinary matters.

Applicants for the StartUp Direct programme should fulfill the following requirements:

University graduates
Final grade at least "good" (a result that exceeds the average requirements considerably)
Suitable length of degree course
You have already done relevant internships
You speak English (another language would be an advantage)
High degree of self-reliance, ability to work on own initiative, team skills, flexibility, mobility, motivation and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner

One advantage of the StartUp Direct programme is ongoing further development provided by the different programme modules. They include an onboarding module, which aims to familiarise you with the “world of Volkswagen” and provide you with support in getting started and finding your bearings at the company. As part of a production assignment, you’ll also gain qualifications relating to the topics of production and quality processes, and a sales module will allow you to get to know the specialist priorities within the work in sales. Other qualification modules will round off your programme.
